Year 10 Thinking ahead Careers Day- July 2024

On Thursday 4th and Friday 5th July, Year 10 took part in a day pf thinking ahead. The year group were split into two groups and did a rotation with retreat as the other activity

The focus of the day was to look at all options for post 16 and beyond. Activities were designed to inform and give students the opportunity to hear from outside providers and companies to help them make decisions that will happen very swiftly in year 11.

Kingston College provided a brilliant talk about college life, as well as information about A level +, T levels and apprenticeship programmes. We also had a speaker from access creative- a college focused on all things creative, and Tesla who not only bought a car for us to see but also gave us an insight in to the future and sustainability.

Other activities in our programme included stereotyping and prejudice, budget game, university life in coordination with Roehampton university and a talk on all things apprenticeship from the ask apprenticeship ambassadors.
