On Tuesday 18^th June students in year 8 had their ‘take your sons to work day’ experiencing various workplaces with a parent/care/family member.

Students in school that day followed a plan of career planning and exploration, using our new careers platform Xello and reviewing some of the careers resources available in school. There was also a very imaginative activity around designing a product that could be sold linking to the Euros football.

We are pleased to be able to offer year 8 the opportunity to do Take your Sons to work day again during this academic year. They will be out on placement on Tuesday 18th June 2024.

The deadline for consent forms is 17th May

Students that are unable to go out on placement will be in school that day, with school uniform and all normal equipment.
