Advent is this special time, every year in the Churches calendar, which offers us time to step back and to take time to prepare ourselves for the coming of Jesus at Christmas. Advent draws us closer to look at our own lives and ready our hearts, this can be done through prayer, personal reflection, forgiveness and reaching out to people who need our help. The National Office for Vocation has decided to theme this years Advent on 'Journeying through Advent: Pilgrimage and Discernment', in line with the Jubilee year 'Pilgrims of Hope'."
