Richard Challoner School

4. Arrangements for Results Days

Please note that no grades can be shared with students or parents prior to the official results days.

  • GCE A-level results will be available on 10th August.
  • GCSE results will be available on 12th August.

GCE A-level results day (10th August)

UCAS Track will be live by 8.30am and this will show the status of university applications.

GCE A Level results will be available to collect from the main school hall at 8.30am. The results will also be published to CloudSchool at this time, but we would advise all students to come into school where possible – either as a good way of starting to celebrate their success, or to get advice from staff who will be on hand to help support any students who might need help.

Any student who is not certain before coming in whether they have had confirmation of a place from either their Firm or Insurance choice should ensure they bring with them:

  • a fully charged phone and iPad
  • UCAS username and password
  • UCAS ID number
  • a printout of both firm and insurance offers, including names and phone numbers of the admissions tutors

GCSE results day (12th August)

GCSE results will be available to collect from the main school hall at 10am. The results will be published to CloudSchool at midday.

Just as we do for the A Level results, we encourage all students to come into school where possible - either as a good way of starting to celebrate their success, or to get advice from staff who will be on hand to help support any students who might need help.

For more information about the support available to help you with decisions about your next steps in education or into the world of work, see the Accessing Further Support page.

Please note that enrolment into the sixth form will be based on the grades a student has been awarded: a student cannot be enrolled onto a course on the basis of an appeal that has been submitted and which might result in a change to their grade in a required subject. For more information about appeals, please see the Appeals Process support page. For further information about this year's enrolment process, please refer to communications from the Sixth Form team.
