Apply to Year 7 - Admissions 2026

Richard Challoner is a Catholic boys’ school with Academy Status, within the Archdiocese of Southwark. The Governors intend to admit, in September 2026, 150 students without reference to ability or aptitude. The places will be offered according to the criteria set out in the school’s Admissions Policy, which should be referred to before making an application.

Application Procedure for Admission - Year 7 - September 2026

Please follow the below steps to apply to Richard Challoner for a place in Year 7 for September 2026 by no later than 31 October 2025.

A. Common Application Form (CAF): All applications for places must be made on the CAF and returned to your Local Authority by no later than 31 October 2025. For full details, please refer to your Local Authority’s website.

B. Admissions Policy 2026/2027: Please read our Admissions Policy 2026/2027 (found at the bottom of this page).

If you would like your application to be considered under one of our faith Criteria (ie. 1, 2, 3(b) and 4), please follow the below steps (1 - 4) by no later than 31 October 2025:

  1. Register on Applicaa from 1 September 2025: Applicaa is our online Application Form and Supporting Documentation portal. Applicaa will open on 1 September 2025 and will close on 31 October 2025 at 23:59. Please click here to register from 1 September 2025.
     
  2. Verification email from Applicaa: After registering, you will receive a verification email from Applicaa. If you have not received this email within 24 hours, please check your junk mail and/or email Mrs Manning at admissions@challoner.kingston.sch.uk. Click on the link in that email to confirm your email address. Once your email address has been validated, you can start your son’s application.
     
  3. Child’s Basic Details: please check the completed details are correct.
     
  4. Upload Supporting Documentation to Applicaa: all required documents must be uploaded to Applicaa. Please ensure you upload a clear photograph or scanned image of the required document(s). If the required document(s) is not provided, the Governors will not be able to apply their admission criteria and this is likely to affect your child’s chances of being offered a place.
